Just over 25yrs ago Mark and Ellita Oost started their business journey as part of the local Mobile Service Station on the main road in Huonville. The workshop consisted of 3 bays with a couple of hoists.

We were soon bursting at the seams with work and an opportunity arose for us to purchase a vacant block of land on Wilmont Road.

With the generous help of family and friends we erected a brand new workshop and it was filled with all the best automotive equipment. Soon after more concrete was poured and the Office was built. But that wasn't the end.

As the work load grew we decided to pour more concrete and build a second workshop at the rear to cater for Tyres, Gearbox rebuilds and long term projects.

Now Total Automotive and 4WD offers 6 Bays, 8 Hoists and a custom built Dyno Tuning room plus state of the art Safe-T-Stop testing for vehicle servicing. However, expansion still continues with an extension to the side of our workshop planned for completion by end of 2022.

Early 2022 Total Automotive and 4WD proudly became an Authorised REPCO Service Centre with the new signage installation almost completed. What a journey!
